Epithalon is a synthetic tetrapeptide investigated in experimental and preclinical models for its potential role in biological aging processes. Research has explored its involvement in circadian rhythm regulation, telomerase activity, and pineal function, including effects on melatonin signaling. Additional studies have examined its interactions with oxidative stress pathways and immune system regulation in controlled research settings.
Fields of Study
- Telomere Lengthening and Telomerase Activation
- Regulation of Melatonin Production
- Antioxidant and Anti-Inflammatory Effects
- Cellular Regeneration and DNA Repair
